Premier 100B are 2-way Paradigm bookshelf speakers constituting two drivers. A high-frequency driver is a single 1″ tweeter dome of X-Pal pre aluminium. Ferrofluid cools the tweeter while the Paradigm patented Perforated Phase-Aligning (PPA) tweeter lens secures it from damage.
The mid/bass frequency has a single 5.5″ woofer cone made of carbon-infused polypropylene.
Polypropylene is preferred over other diaphragm materials because it provides a smooth texture. The tweeter and the woofer in these Paradigm bookshelf speakers have a horizontal arrangement, one above the other.
The mid/bass frequency driver comes equipped with Active Ridge Technology (ART), the best of its other counterparts. ART surround provides a more extraordinary excursion with reduced distortion.
The rear panel of the 100B Paradigm bookshelf speakers has a pair of 5-way binding posts and a plastic-lined port.
