Tannoy Speaker Systems
Symphony 440 Design Group shares immense pleasure in being authorized with Tannoy Ltd, a British manufacturer of loudspeakers and public-address (PA) systems.
Tannoy was founded by Guy Fountain in London, England, as Tulsemere Manufacturing Company in 1926 which, later moved to Coatbridge, Scotland, in the 1970s. In 2015, the Music Group company acquired Tannoy and TC Group, which had previously acquired Tannoy in 2002.
Later on, Tannoy came up with a new plan to shut down the Coatbridge facility and relocate to Manchester, England.
However, later in 2016, it was confirmed that Tannoy would continue its manufacturing in Scotland, with a brand-new manufacturing facility planned.
The name Tannoy is a syllabic abbreviation of tantalum alloy, a material used in a type of electrolytic rectifier developed by the company. The brand, trademarked on 10th March 1932. The company had got registered as Guy R. Fountain Limited from Tulsemere Manufacturing Company.
Tannoy became one of the most common and highly recognized names during World War II when supplying PA systems to the armed forces.
Tannoy speakers are notable for their ‘Dual Concentric’ design with its tweeter behind the centre of the medium or bass driver and very much reputed for the Tannoy studio monitors.

Tannoy speaker’s technological features:
ICT driver: ICT (Inductive Coupling Technology) point source driver delivers consistent broadband directivity and provides exceptional long-term reliability to Tannoy speakers.
It has an extended frequency range and 90° controlled conical dispersion pattern, which makes it ideal for indoor and outdoor music applications, including theme parks, hotels, restaurants and bars, retail stores, corporate AV, residential developments, and houses of worship.
Dual Concentric driver: Dual Concentric point-source driver on a Torus Ogive Waveguide delivers wide and consistent broadband directivity. It features a treated cone and an aluminium dome with a neodymium magnet system for robust and natural music and speech reproduction.

AMS series is the next-generation surface-mount loudspeakers for indoor and outdoor installation applications featuring Dual Concentric and ICT (Inductive Coupling Technology) point source drivers.
All the components are weather-resistant for flexible outdoor usage. Designed and engineered in the UK, these are available in the black or semi-matt white paint finish.
CMS Series:
CMS series has a full range of ceiling loudspeakers and subwoofers for installation applications. Designed with a Dual Concentric driver for point source phase coherence, these provide 90° constant directivity dispersion for optimum coverage.

DCS or the Digital Cinema Screen series has high-powered compact direct-radiating subwoofers for mini cinema installation applications. The DCS series Speakers get installed easily behind the cinema screen due to their low-profile design.
DVS Series:
Coaxial surface-mount loudspeakers rule the DVS series of installation applications. All components are weather-resistant and come in a stylish, durable enclosure in a semi-matt black or white paint finish.
QFLEX Series:
QFLEX’s digitally steerable powered loudspeakers of column array speaker type provide excellent speech and music reinforcement output. In addition, the architecturally styled aluminium enclosure is strongly resistant to corrosion, thereby allowing for straightforward installation applications, indoor and outdoor.
VNET Series:
VNET powered network subwoofer with integrated digital signal processing is used majorly for touring and installation applications. These large-scale horn-loaded subwoofers deliver maximum sound pressure levels and are ideal for foreground music playback in clubs, home theatre setups, and AV applications.
VQ and VQNET Series:
VQ’s large-format modular loudspeakers serve their best for applications where precise directional control, outstanding sonic performance, and high SPL are critical. VQNET series are active, network-enabled version of the VQ series.

HTS series:
