Unlike other center channel speakers, the CS 9060 Definitive Technology Speakers is designed with a remarkable feature to produce strong bass levels along with crisp mid-range frequencies. It is integrated with an upward-firing 8” subwoofer with a built-in 150-watt amplifier aimed to impart additional bass effects to the dialogues as well as other audio and sounds.
The CS 9060 Definitive Technology Speakers have a dual 4.5” driver for midrange frequency to emphasize mid-range frequencies and a single 1” dia aluminum dome as the tweeter. Being extremely light in weight, yet rigid in construction and build, these center channel speakers can efficiently deliver higher Sound pressure levels without causing any distortions.
The midrange drivers are enabled with Balanced Double Surround System (BDSSTM) technology which helps the mid/bass driver to tune well with the integrated subwoofer and passive radiator, to deliver balanced audio.
To further enhance the sonic performance, CS 9060 is featured with the Intelligent Bass Control, an exclusive from Definitive Technology, which thrives to offer magnificently powerful bass levels without losing on the midrange clarity. This is achieved through a 56-bit digital signal processing that pumps the drivers without disturbing the bass-to-midbass crossover point.
